Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Vectra Play (Pvt) Ltd ("Vectra Play", "we", "us") collects when you visit vectraplay.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and plain.
The short version
- We only use cookies and collect analytics after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
- We do not run advertising networks and we do not sell your data.
- You can decline, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser.
Cookies we use
A cookie (or similar browser storage) is a small piece of data a site keeps in your browser. We use a minimal set:
- Consent choice — remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask again on every visit.
- Session marker — a temporary flag so a single visit is only counted once. It is cleared when you close your browser.
- Visitor identifier — a random, anonymous ID stored only after you accept. It lets us group one person's visits together in our own analytics. It is not your name and is not linked to any account.
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics data we collect
If you accept, we record a small, privacy-minded analytics entry for your visit so we can understand our audience and improve the site. This includes:
- An approximate location (city, region, and country) derived from your IP address. We do not use your device's precise GPS location.
- Your IP address, the page you visited, the referring site (if any), and basic browser information.
- The date and time of the visit.
- Interaction data for heatmaps — anonymous clicks, approximate mouse position, and how far you scroll. We combine this into aggregate heatmaps to see which parts of a page people find useful. This is not screen recording or keystroke logging: we do not capture anything you type, and form fields are never recorded.
- Blog reading data — if you read an article on our blog, we record which article, how long the page was open and in front of you, and how far down you scrolled. This tells us which articles are worth writing more of. There is no heatmap on the blog.
We use this only in aggregate, to see where our visitors come from and which pages are useful. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Service providers
To turn an IP address into an approximate city and country, we send the IP
to a third-party geolocation service (currently ipwho.is and,
as a fallback, ip-api.com). They perform the lookup and return
the location. Our site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes standard
server request data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Analytics entries are stored on our own server and are automatically limited to the most recent visits (older entries roll off over time). We can also clear the entire log at any point.
Your choices
- Decline: choose "Decline" on the banner and we record no analytics for you.
- Withdraw consent: clear this site's cookies / site data in your browser settings. The banner will appear again and you can decline.
- Access or deletion: email us (below) to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion.
Contacting us about your idea
If you use our "Share Your Idea" form or email us, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, email, and what you tell us about your project) and use them to respond to you. When you submit the form we also record your IP address, an approximate location (city, region, and country) derived from it, and the date and time, and we store your submission on our own server so we can manage and follow up on your enquiry. If you have accepted our cookie banner, we also associate the submission with the anonymous visitor identifier described above, so we can see the site activity connected to your enquiry. We use this only to talk with you about your project. We do not sell it or add you to marketing lists, and you can email us at any time to ask what we hold or request deletion.
Children
Our site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site evolves. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
